Kennel Assistants

Heather M.

Heather MHeather joined our LVH kennel crew in August 2009. She is currently a senior at the University of Delaware and majors in Animal Science. Although she has no pets of her own, Heather is always affectionate with any animal she meets. In her spare time, she enjoys helping her grandmother foster dogs through Delaware Puppy Rescue and volunteering anywhere she can. She is also involved in several activities such as intramural volleyball and the Animal Science Club. Heather really hopes that one day she has pets of her own so they can be treated with the love they deserve.

Hannah

Hannah has been working with us since the summer of 2010 in both the kennel and Doggy Day Care. She tells us she loves working with the animals and has always had a big interest in all sorts of animals and being able to take care of them. She says that she enjoys her work so much, it doesn't even feel like a job!

Christina P.

Christina has been working with LVH in the kennel and Doggy Day Care since May 2010. She is a Senior at the University of Delaware, and aspires to become a veterinarian. She loves animals, and tells us that working here has made her love them even more!

Kady
Kady was born into a house with cats, and dogs followed soon after. She is now owned by two cats, a Golden Retriever; two Great Danes, and a Pit Bull. In high school she volunteered at Faithful Friends Rescue in Wilmington. "I can't imagine living without animals, and love working with them." When she's not working, she likes being outside -- especially dog-friendly places, reading and volunteering. She is planning on returning to school to become a veterinary technician.

A fond farewell to Emily and Andrew, who head off to college this fall. We wish them the best of luck--we miss them already!
