• Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
  
  
• Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Our surgical capabilities include internal and external orthopedic fixation, soft tissue surgery, joint stabilization and general as well as restorative dentistry. 
  
  
• Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. All animals undergoing surgical procedures are closely monitored using an EKG to monitor the heart, pulse oximetry to monitor the level of oxygen in the blood and carbon dioxide monitors to monitor respiration.  We utilize the safest anesthetics such as isoflurane and propofol.
  
  
• Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern 600 mA X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.
  
  
• Ultrasound Services:  We provide basic ultrasound services to help diagnose a variety of disorders.
  
  
• Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
  
  
• Laboratory:  Our on site laboratory equipment enables us to perform pre-surgical and emergency bloodwork.  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation parameters and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
  
  
• Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery.

• Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. If we don't carry something, please tell us, we can likely order it for you!  We can formulate most medications into a tasty liquid with pet friendly flavors like Angus Beef, Chicken Pot Pie, Bacon and even fruit flavors like Watermelon or Apple!
  
  
• Prescription Refill Service:  Please call ahead so that we may have you prescription refill ready.  We also offer free local mailing of many prescriptions.
  
  
• Individualized Tick and Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control ticks and fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
  
  
• Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

• Dog Boarding at The Farm:  Keep your dog entertained while you vacation!   Dogs are boarded off site at The Farm, our kennel with a view of  a working horse farm! Please see our web page for more information on this wonderful facility. We provide dog boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up from our hospital during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. They may also be picked up and dropped off from our off site boarding facility, The Farm during limited hours, including holidays and weekends.
  
  
• Cat Boarding: Cats are boarded upstairs in a quiet private, "Cats Only, No Dogs Allowed!" boarding room. Many of our Kitty Condos have a sunny window ledge with a wonderful view of our apple trees.
