Limestone Veterinary Hospital
We Treat Your Pet Like Family

Meet Our Compassionate Veterinary Assistants!

Tracy is one of Limestone Veterinary Hospital's Veterinary Assistants as well as a Kennel Assistant. She has worked here for seven years, but has nine years of experience in the industry. Tracy has an uncanny ability to connect with all kinds of pets. This is probably why her favorite part of the job is "comforting the sick animals". Tracy lives in Newark with her husband Ron and son Ryan, who is a junior at the University of Delaware. Tracy also lives with two Daschund's Mitzi and Roscoe, and her three cats Morpheus, Winnie, and Eloise.

Karen is one of our Veterinary Assistants and Kennel Assistants at Limestone Vet, she joined the staff six years ago. Having worked in the industry for nine years she has a great connection with many of the pets here. She says there is nothing about the job that she doesn't like. Before entering the pet care industry Karen once owned an in-home daycare for 18 years! On her days of Karen likes to cook, pet-sit, read, work and garden at her home in Pike Creek. Karen has two cats named Poo-chi and Tai-Lea. Karen has two kids, Allison and Kris; a son-in-law Keith and daughter-in-law Jen. Karen has a grandson named Collin and just recently had a grandughter added to the family. Her daughter is also just graduated from nursing school.

Christina is one of our Veterinary Assistants. She came to us from our off-site boarding facility, The Farm; where she currently still works every day. Christina also helps out in our Kennel, as one of the Assistants. She has been at Limestone Vet since May 2005, but working in the industry for three and a half years. She has a great relationship with all the pets, and all the dogs love Christina while they board with us. This is why taking care of the animals while they are boarding is her favorite part of the job! She is currently a student at the University of Delaware studying Business, in hopes of running her own Kennel one day. Christina lives in Newark with her five cats, Furball, Boo, Lilly, Tootsie, and Eileen (a 3-legged cat she rescued!). On her days off Christina likes to go shopping, to the beach, and to read.

Chris joined Limestone Vet in May 2006 and has been working in this industry for three years. Chris's position here is a Veterinary and Kennel Assistant, he says his favorite part of the job is "helping the hospitalized patients". Chris lives in Newark with his three cats Simon, Casey, and Serena. He also has a Daschund named Alvin, who he acquired when someone abandoned him on the front steps of our vet. On his days off Chris loves to play with and train Alvin, play his bass guitar, and skateboard. Chris is also a local who graduated from Christiana High School in 2005.

Bonne is one of our Veterinary and Kennel Assistants. Bonnie first started with us back in November 2006 as just a Kennel Assistant and is currently training to be a Veterinary Assistant. Her favorite part of the job is the hands-on experience with the animals. Bonnie lives in Newark with her Beagle puppy Bella and her two cats, Sparky and Miles. On her days off Bonnie likes to take Bella to the park, spend time with friends, and watch her favorite show Law and Order. She also shows goats annually at the Delaware State Fair!
